The NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Series moves to Houston this weekend for the 2015 NHRA SpringNationals. The second event of the 2015 season will be sponsored by the Real Pro Mod (RPM) association. The Pro Mod field is 100% full with 28 drivers will be competing for the Wally.
Defending event champion, Mike Janis, has big goals for this race after making it to the quarter finals at the previous race in Gainesville.
“We are excited to be headed into Houston this weekend” said Janis, Owner/Driver at Mike Janis Racing. “Even though we didn’t get the Wally in Gainesville, we know our Jan-Cen Racing Engines/Mike Janis Superchargers Camaro is very competitive. There’s no doubt since Gainesville we have put some extra pressure on ourselves and turned it up a notch. We ran the wheels off our engine dyno and had our CNC machines making new parts non-stop since. Hopefully we can let the scoreboards do the talking and continue towards going after the 2015 NHRA Pro Mod World Championship.”
Here is the current NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Series points standings heading into the Houston race:
1. Bob Rahaim
2. Pete Farber
3. Troy Coughlin Sr.
4. TJ Coughlin
5. Don Walsh
