The third episode of the NHRA Pro Mod Series airs this Sunday afternoon at 1:30 EST on Velocity by Discovery. This week’s episode highlights the NHRA Pro Mod Race at the Southern Nationals in Commerce, GA. This weekend race fans will watch as one driver goes for a wild ride, ending up on two wheels and crossing the centerline.
During the 30 minute show, not only do fans watch the world’s fastest and most unique door slammers compete, they get to hear from drivers sharing their thoughts on the race and heightening rivalries with a little “smack talk.” Viewers also get lessons from Precision Turbo & Engine founder, Harry Hruska, on what makes Pro Mods run and what makes them different from other race cars at the drag strip.
Response on social media networks shows race fans like the new television show. Many complimented host Bret Kepner “vast knowledge on Pro Mods,” others were “Excited to see the door slammers on tv getting the respect they deserve.” The biggest complaint: they wanted to show to be longer.
