Pro Mod driver Dan Stevenson has a new sponsor on board for the final race of the NHRA Pro Mod Season. High Performance Lubricants, a producer of high quality oil products based in Manteno, Illinois will be an associate sponsor on his nitrous boosted 2013 Camaro in Las Vegas next week.
“We put High Performance Lubricant in the car at St. Louis and it really increased the car’s performance. We ran a career best and made it into the quarter finals,” said Stevenson. “Last weekend we competed in Tulsa and qualified #4 and made it past first round. I’m really happy with how the car is running.”
David Ward is the owner of High Performance Lubricants and has worked with Stevenson’s crane business for several years.
“I’ve known Dan for a long time. I’ve watched his racing through the years and he watched as my company grew,” said Ward. “One day Dan made the comment ‘I don’t see any Pro Mod drivers on your site.’ That started the conversation going and we decided to team up.”
Stevenson went on to add, “David is more meticulous than most people, especially when it comes to his lubricant combinations. His products are much more consistent and help the engine perform better.”
High Performance Lubricants also sponsors Star Racing Pro Stock Motorcycles.
