FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PETE FARBER RACING is looking to make a big impact at the upcoming 46th annual Toyota NHRA Summernationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, on June 5-7, 2015.
Coming off a great qualifying performance and unexpected first round loss at May’s 35th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, Pete Farber is more determined than ever to get back into the winner’s circle.
Farber, driver of the supercharged CRC Automotive Brākleen ‘69 Dodge Daytona for NHRA, lent his spare motor to fellow driver Kenny Lang (who went on to win the Atlanta event) and is hoping that Lady Luck shines on him this weekend in Englishtown. “We are ready! We’ve got two fresh engines ready to go this time around, although the one Kenny won with in Atlanta is back in the car for good karma,” he jokes.
Farber’s great attitude and excellent sportsmanship did not go unnoticed, however. As a result, Westminster, Massachusetts-based Earth Solutions, an excavation and heavy equipment company, offered up their support for the team. The new sponsor’s logo will be displayed on Farber’s Daytona for several upcoming NHRA Pro Mod races, as well as a local race in Epping, New Hampshire. “It’s so cool to have a local guy helping out a team like ours on a national level, and we very much appreciate the support they’re providing,” says Farber.
Earth Solutions was formed in 1999 with just one tractor and has since grown into a full-service excavating contractor service complete with a fleet of excavators. Earth Solutions has completed many projects throughout Massachusetts on both the federal and state-level, including hazardous waste site cleanup as well as large commercial and residential development jobs. “We have the equipment and know-how to get projects of all sizes done,” says John Harrington, owner of Earth Solutions. “We’re also a proud sponsor of local sports teams and are excited to be involved with drag racing through Pete Farber and the CRC Automotive Pro Mod team!”
Additionally, Farber’s primary sponsor, CRC Automotive, will be attending the Englishtown race. As CRC is based in the tri-state area, they’ll be bringing a cheering section of more than a hundred Farber fanatics to the track. “It’s a big day for us, and a big day for CRC,” adds Farber. “Englishtown is so close to CRC’s corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania and we want to represent them well. We’ll be working harder than ever to bring home another Wally this weekend!”
Farber is currently fifth overall in the NHRA Pro Mod championship series points, and hopes to improve his standings after the next race.
