The excitement of the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series comes to your living room in a half-hour television show premiering October 3rd on Velocity. The first episode airs at 8:00 a.m. EST this Saturday and will run for 10 consecutive weeks. This is the second season for the television show which garnered 300,000 viewers per episode in 2014.
Each half-hour episode focuses on one NHRA J&A Pro Mod Drag Racing Series event beginning with the first race of the season in Gainesville. Produced by Masters Entertainment Group with race footage supplied by ESPN, this television show follows competition on the track and drama in the pits. Features like “Pro Mod 101” hosted by Precision Turbo & Engine CEO Harry Hruska, show viewers what’s under the hood of these unique door-slammers and how they run. The audience also learns more about their favorite drivers and teams in exclusive one-on-one interviews.
“Our fans are very passionate about the NHRA J&A Pro Mod Series and have been vocal about wanting to watch us on television,” says Danny Rowe, Real Pro Mod Association Board Member. “Our class is quickly growing, along with the number of sponsors supporting us. This television show also gives us a way to showcase Pro Mod drag racing. ”
Encores of each episode will also air on MAVTV that same day at 6:00 p.m. EST and also on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST. Each episode will air later in the week on REV’N TV at a time to be announced.
